Next Wednesday, September 7, John Jairo Correa will be talking about his novel, “The Lament of Chicharras” with Venezuelan writer Juan Carlos Chirinos

The novel, published by the Ex Libris label in Colombia, fictions a real-life case, of which the author learned during his professional practice: the story of fraud devised by a group of characters, “without horizons, intelligent, with operational skills but without moral references”.



John Jairo Correa is a multifaceted character, recognized for his career as a jurist and for his international publications in the academic field. He studied international law in Cambridge (United Kingdom) but is also a navigator, rescue diver, sommelier and mountaineer.

For his part, Juan Carlos Chirinos is a novelist, storyteller, biographer, essayist, playwright, screenwriter and teacher.
