As a language enthusiast, I am inspired, motivated and intrigued by words. In words, a whole world. Take the word pile. Then I hear the sound, I remember the diligent pile and headfast. The wonder that the difference in speed between sound and light became so visible when you looked at that heihead that landed with dry bang on top of that pole. There, the word paal has a meaningful meaning. Something craft. But there are other compositions that make me less excited about. Poles, for example. As a language fanatic, I can just be intrigued by the word.. even if it's just because it's a contradictory word: a verb that expresses sitting still on a minuscule bearing surface. That pole doesn't make sense. Non-craft. It just stands for pole. You guessed it: I'm not a pole fanatic.
