The author constructs the story through 35 short chapters, in which, on the one hand, the scenarios that give context to the action are described, while on the other hand the characters involved in the plot are defined. It is interesting how the author deciphers, broadly speaking, the personality of the main and secondary protagonists, revealing the family history, the psychological, socioeconomic and emotional profile of each of them.

The main theme of the novel is the search for opportunities by relatively marginal characters, with respect to the family, society, the economy, professional work and institutions. Everything happens in a marginal territory but in the process of integration with urban and normalized modernity. And it is precisely in those institutional, ethical and regulatory loopholes and fractures that these characters without horizons, intelligent, with operational skills but without moral references find their opportunity. Taking advantage of the fragility of the integration between banking systems and that of the administration of pension funds, they devise an ingenious process of continuous defraud.

The discovery of financial crime and the corresponding investigation to decipher it, part the novel in two. In the second part, the author creates an atmosphere of suspense with dramatic scenes that include extortion and murder. Thus, the reader arrives, hand in hand with the author, at an unexpected outcome.
