The Shadows
The Shadows is an instrumental music group, active from the 50s of the 20th century to the early 21st century. As a band they laid the foundation for the classical band line-up, consisting of a solo guitar, a percussion guitar, a bass guitar and drums. The Shadows were Cliff Richard's regular support group for many years.

The Ventures
American band that has become an integral part of American pop culture with 'Wak Don't Run' (1959) and not at least the intro-song of the American police series Hawaii Five-O (1969). The group was founded (as the Impacts) in 1959 and enjoys the most success in the 1960s.

The Tielman Brothers
The Tielman Brothers was a Dutch rock band that originated in the 1940s and was active in various line-up operations until the 21st century. In its heyday (late fifties/early sixties), the group consisted of the four Tielman brothers: Reggy (1933-2014), Ponthon (1934-2000), Andy (1936-2011) and Loulou (1938-1994).

The Crazy Rockers
An Indorock group from The Hague. Founded in 1959, they perform to this day. The designation Indorock is controversial for this group because the group was founded by a Surinamer and over the years had both Indo (nesian), Dutch and Antillian members.

The Jokers
A Belgian rock group that was successful in the 1960s. The group, hailing from Antwerp, concentrated mainly on guitar music. Gramophone records of this group were released all over the world during their most successful period, the mid-1960s, first only singles, later also full-length LPs. Especially in Japan a lot of material from the group was released. Throughout the years there has always been an international interest in their guitar music.
