Leijpark 013 Three-spot tensioner

Despite the fact that there are few butterflies, we do see species that we rarely see. For example, in the Leijpark, we found this rare Triangle tensioner; a butterfly that usually flies around the treetops of mostly poplars at night. The butterfly is not endangered, but it is simply not common in our country. Luckily for us, the butterfly sleeps on the bark of trees or even in the grass during the day, so we can still catch a glimpse of her. It also helps that the Leijpark has the necessary poplars. Perhaps we will see her more often. Note: in the warm months, because the butterfly is a real sun worshiper!
