#Leonie is a woman in her 40s, she could be your neighbor. After her divorce, she builds her new life. With neighbor Mandy she has dinner appointments of the good kind: Mandy cooks! Love also comes around the corner, with all the consequences that entails.

Leonie woke up. It was early and she was far away, but... did she hear her phone? Her phone rang! With pounding heart, she flew out of her bed into the living room, where her phone was habitual to the charger. The phone had stopped ringing, but before she could see who the missed call belonged to, he went again. It was Michiel! Hey, Michiel! The baby! “With Leonie”, she said hunted. “Good morning Aunt Leonie”, said Michiel, “Siem Lindkoop was born an hour ago”. “Oooww!” cheered Leonie, “Congratulations!! Has everything gone well?” she asked. “Yes, it all went well, but I'll give your sister a moment”. “Hey girl”, Leonie could hear the bliss, but also the fatigue through the phone. “Hey sister... is it a bit of a handsome guy, our Siem?” she asked. “Well, a newborn baby, huh?” said Dagmar. They both laughed. They always found newborn babies but crumpled bundles. Then she briefly told about the childbirth, which had begun last night and had gone quite quickly about the moment she had held her son in her arms, at five o'clock in the morning. “I'll get to your neighborhoods later, sweetheart, but try to sleep first.” “Sleep? You know as well as I do that we can't.” Dagmar said. Leonie nodded, it was. After such childbirth you were so full of adrenaline, that sleeping was the last thing you could do. “Yes, it is, then I will come in the course of the afternoon, when the children are out of school.” “That's good, I'm going to hang up, Demi is just coming in,” said Dagmar. “Okay, go show her her little brother, bye, honey!” With a blissful smile around her mouth, Leonie put the phone down. She had a nephew, Siem! What a nice name! And how nice that everything had gone well!

Leonie looked at the clock. It was a quarter past six. She decided to stay out of bed. Soon the kids would wake up and she'd tell them the good news. She decided to take the opportunity to make a nice breakfast for the children. She set up the toaster and set the table. Oh, sure! Quickly send Demi an app to congratulate her on her brother. Two minutes later, the message was answered with a photo of Demi with the little newborn Siem in her arms, on the bed next to Dagmar. Leonie melted, what a beautiful picture.

“What are you doing?” Martijn stomp into the living room. Leonie looked up. “Oh, I woke up early because Dagmar woke me up. Or actually it was Michiel. The baby is here!” “And?” Martijn asked. “It's a boy and his name is Siem.” said Leonie proudly. “A boy?” asked Martijn, who suddenly sounded a lot happier. “Yes, a boy. Is that so strange?” asked Leonie smiling. “I thought it would be a girl again, but a boy is nice, so I can teach him to play football,” Martijn concluded satisfied. Leonie grinned. “But you also have three nephews, don't you?” Leonie's brother Alexander had three boys and a girl. “Yes, but they live so far away,” Martijn said. Leonie nodded. Yes, that was a pity indeed. “But he didn't get an ice cream flavor name?” Martijn asked. Leonie almost choked with laughter.
