When Orbison wrote a big hit for The Everly Brothers (Claudette), he saw his chance clean and bought off his record contract with Sun Records to try his luck somewhere else. Orbison ended up with the record label RCA where Elvis Presley recorded many hits. However, Orbison did not stay long. After recording a number of songs, he left the label in 1959 and ended up with Monument Records, led by Fred Foster.
