#save The unplanned development of the Zuliana Region brought with it the massive exploitation of Lake Maracaibo irresponsibly to the point that currently much of its extension is completely contaminated.
The pollution of Lake Maracaibo refers to the phenomenon of deterioration in the quality of this body of water found in the state of Zulia in western Venezuela, due to the enormous amount of oil dumped into the lake by the oil industries, as well as the enormous amount of garbage accumulated on its shores. Lake Maracaibo has become the largest polluted landfill on the planet. Its beautiful beaches today are polluted beaches, which once were a space for fun and recreation, today are waters that bring negative consequences for health, That is why it becomes necessary the participation of all the living forces for the region, depending on the rescue of our lake.
