During our holiday in Luxembourg in the town of beaufort, which is close to the border of Germany, we decided to spend a day in Germany's oldest city: beautiful Trier.

this is located in the south-west in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. The Roman EmperorAugust in 16 v. christ ordered the construction of the city therefore the original name of Trier Augusta treverorum. and thus trier for a time formed the capital of the entire western Roman Empire. Because of this there are still several Roman monuments to admire in the city including the Liebfrauenkirche translated; our dear lady church. we have looked our eyes out what a beautiful church! I would like to share information and some pictures with you:)
