#howtodealwith #symptomen

Before I go any further, let me go into my first symtomes.

In winter, I had a first attack, blue hands, then blue feet and then a whole blue/white tongue. When this continued, my parents went to the general practitioner, they were immediately sent to the hospital. In the hospital the first blood was tested, they could not say anything for sure at that time, but they thought #raynauds .

Raynauds is a narrowing of the blood vessels, during such an attack your blood vessels in the (mainly) limbs narrow. An attack may have to do with climate change (like with me with the cold) or with stress.

With the blood results, we were sent to the children's hospital. There it was determined that I had all 5 components of Crest syndrome. (Including indeed Raynauds falls).

Later I found out that my migraine attacks probably stem from that, which started in group 4.

Fast Forward
2001:
After my graduation on #Bonaire we are going to #Curacao moved. One of my younger brothers went to high school and had chosen a school because I was going to do HAVO I went to the same school. My youngest brother had 2 years left in elementary school.

In the first year at HAVO I had my first attack since moving to a warmer part of the world. On both elbows I had #ulcers . Nice thing, having to sit in the back of your chair to write, or not be able to participate in Gym (although I didn't mind, hated that very much). Eventually it took me 6 months before I could bend my arms again. In this case, stress was the cause of this attack. That's why, like my brother, I changed school after my first year here on Curacao. A much nicer school:).

Until next time...
