Line art and leadership

Post from my linkedin page.... Sharing my daughter her line art. Being is mom is being a ‘project manager on voluntary basis’ 🤣 I’ve been ‘working’ with her putting her work out there. As a true artist she’s her own worst critic.

Often we see this happening in our teams. Insecurity often takes the best of us, preventing us to shine and be amazing. This is common with both #teammembers as #leaders . Insecurities in a team are often the result of bad organizational culture. Offering #psychologicalsafety could be the answer to preventing this but it should be more than a written slogan ‘on the wall.’ Psychological safety means no judgement, no making fun of, no exclusion or in-groups, no provocative or passive aggressive behavior. It’s about providing a safe haven where everybody is allowed to be themselves ♥

My GenZ daughters are definitely prepping me for what’s ahead, being a great leader to the next generation entering the workforce.
