Which can lead to serious problems, because bees are an indispensable link in nature. They pollinate flowers and blossoms, plants and trees. Without bees, no plants. Scientists already estimate that 47% of global fruit production, 32% of vegetables and 47% of nuts are already being lost due to insufficient pollination.
But there may be hope of salvation. Scientists at Tampere University in Finland have developed a small lightweight robot that can act as an artificial pollinator. They were inspired by the fluff of the dandelion, actually the way in which the seeds of that plant move through the air. #bees

I sometimes pollinate manually, with a brush, my fruit trees and melons and so on. But then again, I don't have a real orchard.
