Los Ocarros Biopark
In 2010 my dear brother Ricardo Franco, historian and publisher of luxury publications, carried out an editorial project with environmental information, which included reports on ecology, recycling, biodiversity and sustainable development, in web format.
This was the first portal dedicated to the region of the Colombian Orinoquia, revistaantropika.com .
An undertaking with the capacity to unite computer aspects related to the Geographic Framework (Protected Areas, Watersheds, National Subregions), Natural Resources (Fauna, Flora), Legal Framework, Institutional Partners (Autonomous Corporations, Private Companies, Civil Groups, NGOs) such as sociological and humanistic, in an attempt to understand the 'Biodiversity of the region'.
In the Orinoquia Region there are 7 National Natural Parks, of which 5 are in the Department of Meta, 1 in Arauca and 1 in Vichada.
I was then honored to register El Bioparque Los Ocarros just 3k from the city of Villavicencio, a unique experience.
This is one of the projects that could well be led by the current National Government and here we will be attentive to update the official website. | Villavicencio
