I was drunk as hell that eve
I don't remember which peg got me high
Maybe it could be the third peg or maybe fourth or fifth
Or maybe I was already high on you.
However I do remember
How all of my tantrums were getting your attention.
I do remember how you had my wrist grasped firmly in your hand,
How often your lips caressed my hand,
How I snuggled my head against your chest .
I don't remember if you said those three magical words,
However you made me feel I'm the magic happened to you.
