LUCY [3] - a The Sims 2 Fan Fiction

The teacher assigned us a project for Science class. You weren't good at that class, but it was me, who showed you its beauty, its mysteries. Even after we had completed our task, we would still discuss theories and scientists.

One night, while we were talking on the phone, I still remember how you asked me:

"Do you believe that they will find life on another planet, while we're still alive?"

Hesitating, I said: "Scientifically, it's impossible-"

Here, you interrupted me. Your next words were unforgettable: "No, Alex. Think outside the box."

I stood silent, listening to the melody of your voice.  "Just believe."

You taught me to believe, Lucy. To use my imagination and not always to trust only the scientific facts. Thank you.
