At the end of the eighties, the band formed in New York City Maggie's Dream — a group that hard rock, funk and soul managed to blend into a powerful and sophisticated sound. They were in the same list as Living Color , Red Hot Chili Peppers and Fishbone , but had their own style that was reminiscent of Prince and Lenny Kravitz — only with a rawer edge.
