Majestic railway station
“A marble temple, railway basilica or huge train cathedral. Any of these three names would undoubtedly define the one considered by the American magazine Newsweek the fourth most beautiful station in the world”
I find it interesting to see how majestic structures like these were built over the years, structures that have attracted millions of people around the world just to admire the different architectural works. In many places in Europe there are landmarks such as the Alexandre III bridge or the Eiffel Tower itself.
This train station was designed by the king of Belgium Leopold II during the 19th century apparently man was a visionary. All these irrigated works all over the world have something in common yesthat the rulers wanted something else thought about the future and the value it would acquire.
The symmetrical beauty and details of the entrance to the station make me think of a palace although that title is already given by the train station located in Moscow capital of Russia.
Works like these are not currently being built, the rulers are more focused on just creating something that works and fits their resources.
