Most dads are also in the kitchen. What can your dad make the most delicious? Spaghetti, pizza, cauliflower, pancakes or that delicious pasta? Please let us know! And how nice is it when dad has his own pot holder to grab the pans or take the oven dish out of the oven? The fact that you then decorated that potholder especially for him is of course very nice!

With textile markers, you can edit textiles yourself, in your own style and taste. You don't even have to be really good at drawing, because it's really easy. You can see below how you can do that exactly, and what you can create!

There are various brands of textile markers for sale, in the hobby shop or extensive department stores or shops with a hobby materials department. The choice is huge, but they all have the same feature: By ironing the workpiece when it is finished, the ink stays in/on the textile and you don't wash it off! The heat fixes the whole thing and you can even put the textile in the washing machine without losing your drawing and/or written text. So it's fun and creative to make your own kitchen textiles (apron, oven glove, pot holder)! Think of a birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas or any other occasion where you can make a personal gift yourself.

We have already tried several textile markers and shown them here at Yoors. This time we have had a lot of creative fun using the beautiful and thick TextiLico markers from the Collall brand. What great markers are those! The permanent textile markers have a nice thick tip, so you can color even larger areas without streaks. They don't dry out quickly and they come in 12 lovely bright colors! At the bottom you will find the link to the online shop where you can find the tube with the 12 markers so that you can experience it for yourself!
