Make your impressions at home and have fun
For many people creativity is a gift, but I think you can acquire it with patience, everything is that you like doing your job and that at the same time you can make the most of this recreational work.
If you are thinking of creating a new business with your own homemade designs and you don't want to spend too much money on this one, this post can help you.
I'll show you two methods for you to customize and sell your t-shirts. Test on textiles other than the final ones so as not to end with the available budget before starting. Screen printing at home
Screen printing on personalized t-shirts is undoubtedly one of the most used techniques and it is easy to learn, of course if you want to do it correctly you must have a space to be able to perform all your skills precisely in this art that is screen printing.
This is an excellent option since you can create a large number of t-shirts in a single day.
To begin with, if you have or have someone who can build your own rack for you or make it yourself, or in any case buy it, you must know what each of the elements that compose it is and what is called:
If you decide to do so, the frame or frames are composed of a simple wooden or metal frame and a mesh through which the ink flows., just like the figure that I present to you. The meshes are measured in “threads” and you can find them in different sizes (85 threads, 130 threads, 250 threads, etc.) I recommend a mesh of approximately 100 to 130 threads, which is the most versatile and can be used for practically all types of designs.
Frame.

Whenever you have the screen ready, you will need to have a photographic emulsion, which you can buy at any photo store or in a specialized fine art store.
Spread a small part of this emulsion (on the outside of the screen) and use the spatula/scraper so that it is well covered.
Then you will have to take the screen to a dark area to dry, leave it to dry in a horizontal position for 1 to 3 hours.
At that time, take the opportunity to create your own design on cardboard or similar, cutting out the silhouette.

Then, you can place under direct light (spotlight, lamp or special 150 watt lamp) the screen with the silhouette of your creation on top of the emulsion, thus preventing it from giving it light (this process will take approximately 30-40 minutes, do not move the screen during this time).
Now that the emulsion is completely fixed, you can put it under a tap or wash it with a hose. This process will remove the part of the emulsion in the area where your design was, allowing the ink to pass only through this area.
And now you have your screen ready, start printing your t-shirts and those of your customers, good luck !
Stamping with tampons and shapes.
90% of people who have printed something at least once have used tampons or templates, although surely it had never occurred to us to do it on a t-shirt.
This method is one of the most basic and “grateful”, you just have to put any object that is flat (such as a cork for example) on ink and stamp it on the desired surface and that's it! Easy, right?
In this technique you can use anything, yes, just as you read it anything; for example, cut fruits or vegetables which you can moisten in special ink for fabric and by mixing different shapes you can really achieve results eye-catching, fun and original for your t-shirts.
