It is nice to have some unique goodies / swag you can give away, use as decoration or use in the game geocaching. This is a feasable and low cost idea.
This summer I've been working with different materials.
In the absence of big rocks to paint I started working with small rocks and slices of wood.
Feet and beak can be made with pyrography or with paint markers.
Use glue and clamp to attach stone to the wood.
Different options to finish: magnet on the back, small hole with cord or leave it as it is to keep it as a coin.
It is simple to do, but also some pictures of the work in progress.
The last pictures show some extra idea's with small pebbles and more geocaching accents.
