Make your own lamp!
Making lamps from recycled material
After a couple of moves, I discovered that I was really short of lamps. Recognize that at some point you get to the point that you don't even notice that STILL hang bald pearls everywhere. After redecorating the living room and the office that I share with the youngest two children, my eyes opened and suddenly I literally saw the light. Or actually the pearls. So it was time to change this. But what lamps would I like and what lamps did I need?
In the living room it was really too dark, especially the 'evening since I had painted a long wall in the living room black. I couldn't really find a lamp that got me excited and that price technically also fell within the budget so back to the base but that is the lamps I still had.
The first lamp I took care of was a lamp that I had bought in a grey past from a woodworker and which I still liked in terms of shape. A hand-carved lamp base made of wood. Only the wood was too shiny and also sanding didn't change that and the wood was too red in color to fit into the newly furnished living room. The hood that was on it had suffered very much from the many removals and could not be anymore. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures but this is what it has become:
Ik vind het super goed geslaagd.
