Do you want to do something creative and cool? Then make your own nail painting! Cut an MDF board, paint it a nice color and choose a pattern. With a hammer, you carve the nails and weave the figure in scratch with wool. The residents of a healthcare facility show below that it is really not difficult. Take a quick look at the fun results and get inspired to make your own String Art painting too!

The planks

To easily hammer the nails into the board, you need soft and also thicker wood. We used MDF 22mm. This can be purchased at Gamma, for example (a large board cost around 13 euro) and it was cut for us free of charge into 15 pieces of 20x24 cm with their sawing machine. Of course, that's super handy and we didn't have to cut ourselves.

The paint

Paint the planks in 1 color of your choice. Put some paint on a saucer or a piece of aluminum foil. Paint the MDF board with a large brush. While painting, just drop some white paint (or other color) into the paint and stir lightly with the brush. So you get some more nuances in the paint. This way, your background is a little more alive!
