Making kingfisher on a stone with cold enamel
You can be creative with the cheerful colors of Collall Cold Enamel . Material that externally has the gloss of enamel. It is well processed on various materials. Think wood, mdf, paper, paper mâché, canvas etc. But it's also nice to work a stone with it. Nathalie Mensink is going to do this with a stone. She chose a kingfisher that she drew on it with black marker (permanent marker). You use the thin enamel from the bottle dosed to fill a color surface.. This way you always fill up all the planes. With a cocktail stick you can create textures in the enamel if you want to apply details. Think eg. to feathers in the kingfisher. You can edit it as you like yourself. And then the waiting for it to become dry. Put it away for quite some time so that it has time to dry.
This stone is not going to roam yet. Nathalie made a couple of test stones with cold enamel to test how it goes when they're outside.(or the enamel stays on it in different weather conditions) So for inside this stone is super decorative and also a wonderful gift for someone .
