I can see the importance of making memories through my daily interactions with the elderly. Life is fleeting and time flies by quickly. It's easy to forget to cherish the present moment as we rush through life. However, at some point, we are forced to slow down, whether due to age, illness, or other circumstances. That's when we can reflect on the memories that we have treasured for years.

Today, I was reminded of the significance of these memories when my daughter asked me how I felt about baking Christmas treats together. I replied that I loved it because it was my fondest memory with my mother. Perhaps one day, my daughter will share this same tradition with her own children, and that thought means a lot to me.
