Making of...

Like an athlete constantly perfects his or her movements, that's how I do my daily workouts. These are intended to train my eye-hand coordination and motor skills. Maybe it's just like the sport ping-pong, where you can see it immediately when your hand does not respond well to the ball if you miss... In the exercises on paper, I immediately see what I'm doing wrong, because I set myself very specific goals. Just look at the line between two points or the ellipses (circles seen at a sharper angle than 90 degrees).
By the way, do you remember I was talking about anatomical dissection in one of my previous blogs? (see link below) Also a drawing (or painting or any other two-dimensional artwork) can be 'dissected' into basic forms consisting of lines consisting of points. If you look closely at the sheet that I have completely perfected here, you can see points, lines and a basic shape (two cubes' printed 'together to sharpen my spatial insight)
Suppose you want to write a convincing story (and I think a lot of people want it!) for an audience who at the same time knows it's just a story, don't you first have to know all the letters of the alphabet, have a large vocabulary, make logical sense constructions and formulate meaningful sentences? Similarly, points, lines and shapes are needed for another illusion, a 'fish' for example...
