Mangroves Capitán Chico is a locality, settlement, farmhouse or populated site of the municipality Maracaibo in the state Zulia, located at approximately 8.20 Kms from Los Puertos de Altagracia (Miranda municipality) and 9.67 Kms from Maracaibo, 7 meters above sea level. State: Zulia Municipality: Maracaibo Parish: Coquivacoa.

WHO WAS CAPTAIN CHICO IN AMERICA A STRENUOUS SPANISH CAPTAIN BECAME INDIGENOUS AND ENVIRONMENTALIST
Miguel Ortega Moran y García was born somewhere in Castile, Spain in 1790. From a very young age he enrolled in the spanish navy.
