March 8 is International Women's Day again. A day where we celebrate the achievements of women around the world, but also reflect on the battles that remain to be fought. Indeed, according to the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, women produce most of the world's food. All over the world, women in particular are also responsible for eating in a household, for example by cooking and shopping. In doing so, women keep entire households, and therefore the whole world, nourished and healthy!

No country where as many people work part-time as in the Netherlands — especially women. Recently, the call to change this has been getting louder, but the part-time culture was not due to personal wishes and choices — it is a result of conscious policy. Read the article here
