Matsi

If you choose a man to share your life there, then there is also children attached to it. Especially when you're 30+, only Marcel didn't have kids. A dog Matsi, which I also chose when I decided to go on in life together with Marcel. Matsi is a beagle, a race I didn't know so much about back then. Only that did Matsi change quickly, because he was a real beagle who was also pubering. This was not a dog, this was a beagle where you really had to consider his behavior! Not because he's unmanageable, but a hunting dog chasing his nose.

Matsi is a beagle, which is a little big for his race. Not that you can see this in pictures, but you can see it when you see it in real life. This also strikes the people in my area, who say that to me when they know more about dogs or have had a beagle of their own. If you doubt it's a beagle, you'll find out if you really get to know him. He does not have a few driving characteristics of a beagle, he has them all! Sometimes I can laugh about it, but most of the time he drives me crazy! Something that will never disappear! At least, that's my opinion. Thank God he also has his soft side and that makes you love him for the rest of his life! He's not just my dog, he's also my friend and child. We do a lot of things together and make beautiful memories that are for life.

Unfortunately, he will never be able to walk loose, because then he really goes after his nose. Maybe now that he's older, he'll stay close. Only I'm not gonna try this because I don't want anything terrible to happen to him. In addition, he has been seized by a stafford in the past, so he will always suffer from his trauma. But that doesn't make him any less sweet, though alert me. Because even though he has a sweet face, he's not stupid and thinks everything out. This way we always make sure that he can't unstep, climb or dig because he will definitely do this. And if this works, don't think Matsi's listening when he's out there without a running line. Because then he suffers from selective deafness and will follow an interesting trail with his nose.

Matsi is not an easy dog, but he is a sweetheart, and he listens to me very carefully. I still enjoy him every day, and hopefully I can do that every day for the next 10 years.
