Actress and singer Miley Cyrus, daughter of 90s country star Billy Ray Cyrus, gained early fame as the star of Disney's 'Hannah Montana' series and became a hugely successful pop artist. She was born in Franklin (Tennessee) and began acting at a young age. She set the lead role on Disney's hit show 'Hannah Montana' in 2004. Cyrus then released several successful albums, including 'Breakout' (2008) and 'Can not be tamed '(2010), as she became increasingly famous for her wild behavior. Her 2013 single 'Wrecking Ball', backed by a controversial video, became her first US number 1 hit.

Star on the Rise, Cyrus, released a successful soundtrack album of 'Hannah Montana' in 2006. In 2007 Cyrus' double album 'Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus' launched a tour: “Best of Both Worlds.” The concert series sold out in record time and the show was renewed with 14 dates to satisfy the frustrated fans.
