The Plaza del Buen Maestro was once a beautiful and entertaining walk where both Maracaibera families and tourists enjoy beautiful views of Lake Maracaibo, considered the largest in Latin America, of its cool breeze and serves to walk, meet and share lovers. In other times there was at the end of its route that culminated lake inland, a source of water consisting of a very strong jet of water with such a height that the strong breeze carried away the water and had to eliminate it because visitors got wet.
It was formerly the place where the first seaplanes arrived in the city. nowadays few visit it due to some insecurity that exists in the area, so it is recommended to visit it in large groups of people.
Currently it is visited more than all parents who have children because one side of the square there is an amusement park for children under 12 years old and there is also the marina park on the other side, widely used in the early afternoon for walking and exercising. Despite being neglected, good photos are still taken of its facilities and the lake.
