Clothespins are super fun materials to make great workpieces. They are easy to paint and glue. Because of their separate form they are clearly recognizable. Wooden half-clothespins can be bought in many hobby shops, or buy whole clothespins in the supermarket and take off the iron. There are many workpieces possible!

Method of round mirror frame with half clothespins:

  • Paint 36 wooden half clothespins in a nice color that matches your room, you can also use different colors
  • Paint wooden decorations such as a flat MDF/wooden bird or hearts to your liking
  • Allow everything to dry or blow dry
  • Paint speckles on clothespins, or choose small flowers, hearts or stripes
  • Decorate the little bird and the hearts with text, rhinestones or ribbons
  • Cut or cut a cardboard circle 1 cm smaller than the mirror
  • Glue the clothespins evenly onto the cardboard (first adjust how it suits)
  • Using a glue gun, attach a hanging string to the cardboard (between 2 clothespins) or make a hole and insert it through
  • Then glue the mirror and press it still firmly
  • Glue the little bird and the hearts half over the mirror
  • Let everything dry well before hanging it on the wall.

Nice to know: Does the mirror fall off unexpectedly? Do not worry.. for shards.. bring LUCK!
