Mondrian owl crafts from a washcloth and felt
For an art theme week I have come up with an idea that children will find a fun challenge. We're making a Mondrian owl!
Who's Mondrian?
He is a Dutch painter who made abstract art. His most famous work is the use of black lines in combination with bright colors such as yellow, blue and red. This contrasts with black and white surfaces. It looks like it's part of something bigger. Like it's a particle of something, but you can't see.
Mondriaan as an art is very well integrated into a craft. For this I have now chosen an owl. Just a little bit different and because of the colorways there won't be an owl the same!
