More benefits to hang your laundry than just energy saving
There are more benefits to hanging your laundry than just the #energiebesparing of the dryer.
~Dresses, blouses, blaizers: I hang these on a coat rack. Many dresses have delicate fabrics, and in the dryer you will see too much garment. You have less wear. So less quickly buy new clothes. They are also sometimes difficult to iron and that is usually no longer necessary. You need your iron less, so you can save energy again. By the way, if you first got the folds out of your mountain (with me every week the Mount Everest) then it's only a small pile. Only then insert your iron. Saves a huge amount of energy.
Tip: Easy to iron your dress or blouse with pleats and sides. Let them hang on the coat rack and keep them in air. Turn on your steam rig, and then steam vertically against your dress. This way, your garment does not stick to your iron (usually happens with syntetic fabrics) and you do not have false folds. Seamstresses and clothing designers are steaming their clothes.
~Sweaters and sweaters: hang on a coat rack as well. This prevents shrinkage and wear (woolen). You can hang them directly in your closet when they are dry. That saves a lot of time. Also, you won't suffer from those high stacks of sweaters and sweaters that threaten to fall. Are they a little stretched out by the heaviness? Then put them in the dryer for 10 minutes, so they will return to shape.
By hanging your clothes on coat hooks you also save a lot of space. In the summer I get my laundry on my dryer but in winter I have to be very creative with my drying racks. That's how I save a lot of space. And I can wash on weekends at night rate. With 10 in the house I can easily get rid of a machine or 20 (have a drum for 7kg, so not really small), sometimes even more.
