Mushaf Novel

Narrated through the character of mehmal Ibrahim, Mushaf can enlightens your loves with the teachings of Quran. The novel develops a connection not only with the character but ultimately makes the reader develop a connection with Quran.
Mushaf is actually the name of Quran in Arabic language. Nimra Ahmed had explained the aspects of Quran so beautifully and intellectually that no one might have ever thought of Quran in such way. The novel is an emotional roller coaster of excitement, suspense, trust, emotional, crying, love, and most importantly the harsh realities of this society and life.
Mushaf is the novel about a helpless orphan ‘Mehmal Ibrahim’ who finds real meaning of life in the holy Quran that helps her deal with every situation of her life. The story opens with a beautiful glimpse of morning and Mehmal’s interaction with black skinned girl carrying a book with black cover. Upon asking, the black girl tells her that the book is a magic.
The story revolves around the life of Mehmal and Mushaf. Mehmal is portrayed as a very beautiful and young girl living a miserable life with parental family with her mother after the death of her father. Living a very restricted life, Mehmal felt trapped in her own home. The story consists of a lot of twists with her being getting fooled by her cousin and mehmal returning Mushaf back to the girl.
The plot twist where she gets sold by her cousin to Humayun, Nimra Ahmed has beautiful told the readers to never trust any na-mehram. This twist is followed by another twist where Mehmal reaches a Madrassa in an attempt to run away from Humayun depicting that girls should be brave and never ever lose hope. The novel consists of many verses of Quran with their meaning illustrated in a beautiful way.
