Music from the 70s...
Everyone has their favorite music. My preference is the 70ties. My interest in music is very different. Both the spiritual and popular music. Both classical, as well as the Dutch song. I think it is also how you were raised and how the composition of the family is and what you may or may not hear. When I got the age to listen to my own music and buy and play, we are already in the early 1970s. Then I bought, with my own money, a radio and a pickup. The seller, a man in second-hand goods, gave me a single (record) with the music:The Platters - Smoke Gets In Your Eyse. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOcU40jqToQ&feature=related I also bought LPs (LPs) by James Last. Country and Western and even spiritual music. The TV program TOP-POP and the music express were favorite. What about ABBA and the Carpenters and Corry & de Rekels and the soul music. The soul music lacked me and of course I wore herringbone pants with wide legs and soul stampers (shoes) 70's e 80's Disco Music, see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CElq7YBT3kA&feature=colike
And what to think the song: βlet meβ by Ramses Shaffy and by Rita Hovink - Leave me alone (1976) Andre Hazes, I sit here all alone celebrating Christmas, also hit like a bomb. And skating in Thialf with the beautiful music of, soley soley of Middle of the Road. And of course, when you are a king by White Plains (1971)
