#awhile The constant war we have against time we are gradually losing.
When I was young, I always challenged time, because my many activities gave rise to that challenge.
I had to organize myself so that I could fulfill all the commitments. The studios, the gym, the volleyball team, the family, the parties, covered all the hours of the day. At that age there were enough energies and running from one place to another to be on time was necessary.
Yes, that blessed time forced me to see my Seiko watch thousands of times, the one my father had given me so that it was always punctual and I had no excuses when answering "I didn't know what time it was”. At that time there were no cell phones that showed us on their screen and in large numbers exactly the time.
My friends of that time, used to make jokes and limit me as a joke my tickets to the classroom, I arrived like lightning, hairy and sometimes sweaty because of the races I did to get there on time.
Today I have already lost that fight against time, I feel that it has won me, I look at my watch which is no longer my Seiko with a blue dial and its hands seem to move slowly, that hectic life that I sometimes long for is gone, the hours of the day seem longer and time is now too much in my day to day.
