My body US my mind
I'm sure you know it. That your mind wants everything, but your body doesn't. It can also be the other way around, that your body wants a lot of things, but your mind says: 'hey, take it easy, will you! '
Every morning when I wake up, either by the blowing of my alarm clock or simply by myself and the latter does not happen very often I can tell you, I have the greatest difficulty opening my eyes, moving my legs and getting up. My mind whispers me that I just have to lie down and another voice wants me to get up. The dog has to get out, and you wanted to do so much today. My painful body wins it over my mind and I set my blerring alarm clock a quarter of an hour ahead. In my head there's a whole battle going on in that 15 minutes, I can assure you. Gay, I am! I want to do that and that and all that today, but my body doesn't agree with that. The general malaise wasn't even gone yet and now the fibers have me in their grip again, everything takes more effort. Here you can read more about >>> Fibromyalgia <<
If after 15 minutes the blérding thing goes off again, I give myself an imaginary kick in my butt and get up. Stump down the stairs, take medication, set up the coffee, and then I'll take Snoopy for a walk. During the walk I wake up a little and when I come home the hot coffee slides well through my straw and warmed my cold body.
After the coffee it is time that I do something here and do so. Every day a little and little by little I can keep things in order here. But you also have those days when you can't do anything, when you have your sacred intention to do something every day. As you probably already know I have a lot of people around me and they also need attention and help. As I know how to find them with my problems of a random nature, they also know where to find me with their little things. Since they are always there for me, of course the other way around.
Today was such a day in which I was more concerned with someone than with myself. Yes, today I was one for a few others; handywoman, laundrette, telephonist, social worker, dog walking machine, grocery girl and cook.
