My bumblebee - After 1 week
A week ago, in the afternoon, I found an exhausted bumblebee on the ground. I gave it sugar water and put it on a lavender plant. It crept up immediately and stayed in the same place throughout the afternoon and evening. Google told me to just leave it behind, so I did. In the morning, I noticed that it had rained well again and it was also freezing outside. The temperature had fallen to barely 3 degrees that night. The tree bumblebee was still sitting in the same spot on the lavender plant, in the cold and in the rain. I felt sorry for the poor little animal and decided to take it inside, where it was dry and nice and warm.

Damaged wings
Inside, I was able to take a closer look at the little creature and I noticed that the wings were damaged and the animal could no longer fly. I gave it some sugar water again and decided to wait a bit. After some research on the Internet, I learned that the wings of bees and bumblebees are no longer recovering and that most of these animals are doomed because they simply become food for birds and other predators outside. Moreover, they apparently also go into a comatose state when it is less than 5 degrees and that will also kill them.
