My experience with the pandemic!
I remember that when it all began its beginning was a simple rumor, a new virus on the other end of the planet, the days passed and what started as a rumor becomes true and a harsh reality, thousands of people died of a strange and new disease that affects every system but primarily airways and lungs, when it arrived here I was afraid, since I read news from neighboring countries with great scientific potential that were about to collapse, I studied and came out theories, only theories that were not palpable and concrete.
The first cases arrived in the country, they closed everything, all in quarantine, clearly except those who from the beginning took charge of the situation Medical staff, nurses, waitresses, the world stopped for a few months but something was still working, “THE HOSPITAL” THE FIRST LINE OF DEFENSE, giving their best and creating a gap for that at the scientific level were able to make a VACCINE.
Many lives ended, many colleagues died giving everything for everything. And it became responsibility, a moral duty, to go to do guards and shifts sometimes of 48 continuous hours to medical centers specialized in Covid-19, I was face to face with patients, relatives of patients I remember that at the beginning of the global pandemic treatments were experimental WORLDWIDE with all the technological advances we did not know treat that disease, time passed and we improve by abysmal steps.
Currently we are still fighting with all the experience we have acquired, learning from mistakes, I am almost certain that everyone here has a family member, friend or acquaintance who has left because of this terrible disease. I want to tell you that I am very sorry and that there is less time before we get out of this and see this as a black spot in the history of humanity.
