Sometimes there are those days when people say, I want something different from what I have at the moment. And every time one postpones it again or pushes it on the long track or it just doesn't happen. People don't even get into it. However, I also had such a project in mind to turn my old fish pond into a small swimming pool, but didn't want to put in any money because of too expensive. And above all, I wanted to go on the refurbish tour, achieving my project with as little money as possible was now my goal.

The fish and the filter system were sold on 2nd hand and with this money I bought the material needed to achieve my goal. And as is often the case when doing jobs, people sometimes say: anyway, while I'm at it, I'll tackle this or that too. So I also broke down the wooden closure and gave the planks and wooden posts that were still usable a new place.
And then I found an old wooden bench behind the garden house and I immediately decided; while I am full of enthusiasm and motivated. you get it, hey I also tackled the wooden bench once.

Refurbishing my old fish pond and putting in new fish was not an option. Reason was because the filter system was running day and night and this ended up consuming a lot of electricity. So in the current economy, this is not a feasible picture, even though we have solar panels on our roof.
And let's face it, it's also nice to change something about the house. The visual also wants something, so started dismantling the filter system, cleaning out the filters all, made them saleable and sold on 2nd hand. Apparently, these types of filters are in high demand because they were sold in no time.
Actually, we were going to sell the fish too, but I thought well, if they don't sell quickly, they're going to die. So we donated it to a couple with a very large nature pond and my wife was invited for a snack and a drink later than.
