MY TEN FAVOURITE FILMS OF 2021 THAT I WILL WATCH A SECOND TIME
#Whattowatch 2020 and 2021 were some of the worst years that humans have ever faced in their entire history. People were confined to their homes with nothing to do so movies were a major part of their daily lives to fill the boredom and empty time. Movies were adapted in order to stream directly in HD on multiple platforms so that viewers wouldn't have to suffer having to wait for a movie to come out in theaters and then come out in HD. Every movie was a special adventure to make us forget the harsh reality of the real world and of the tragedies of the families that succumbed to the effects of the pandemic. By watching a lot of movies, we have educated ourselves in many different genres and subjects and perhaps we have become a little smarter from good movies. Out of all these movies, there were a few "chosen ones" you might say that they were the very best movies of the year so let's take a look at 10 movies that were fan favorites and I wouldn't mind watching a second or a third time.
The Mitchells vs The Machines
Now, this may be a little bit of an oddball, but hear me out. The Mitchells vs The Machines is a classic movie that, through a major event, helps the main characters understand each other better and improve their relationships. Easy enough, right? Well, this movie does it spectacularly and you can be sure to love it once you watch it. The main plot revolves around The Mitchells, a dysfunctional family that decides to go on a trip towards the main character's university. During this trip, a rogue AI starts a robot uprising that will hinder their trip and put the entire human race in danger.
NOBOdy
Do you love Bob Odenkirk in his role as Saul from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul? Well, you'll him in this movie too. Nobody takes the action-packed genre and criminal side of the world to another level as a truly worthy successor of the mantel of John Wick. Want to see some great action scenes with a great character build and arc? This movie is just for you then.
The Last Duel
Medieval themed movies have been in the decline for many years now as they are slowly being replaced by superhero and science-fiction movies. The Last Duel is an exception to this rule as this movie is truly gold. The story revolves around two knights and their final duel to put honour in its rightful place. Watch this movie if you are ever feeling like you need some medieval epic-ness through your system
Dune
Dune was one of those movies that was expected to be a complete bust and that no one would ever watch as it was considered a complete Star Wars rip-off. None of this was true and Dune is one of the best sci-fi movies to have ever come out in 2021 as the film has great visuals, landscapes, and even better action set pieces. I will never get tired of this movie and you shouldn't be either so give it a watch.
