#myfavorite Yulimar Rojas una joven caraqueña que a pesar de su situación socioeconómica siempre fijó  su sueño en el deporte, su sueño comenzó con el deseo de practicar voleibol. Su padre Pedro Zapata la llevó al Complejo Polideportivo, pero al llegar  no  había profesores de voleibol disponibles, comenzó a realizar pruebas de atletismo y sorprendió a todo el equipo con su excelente desempeño.
Con tan solo 24 rompe  el récord mundial en Salto triple con una marca de 15.43 metros en el Meeting Villa de Madrid en Madrid, España. Este logro la hizo merecedora del premio Atleta del Año 2020, un galardón otorgado por la World Athletics.
Esta joven atleta es una chica dinámica, disciplinada , que posee un carisma que agrada a muchos ,tiene claro a dónde quiere llegar y el arduo trabajo que requiere seguir conquistando sus objetivos.

Entre sus logros más importantes estan:

-El Mundial Indoor Portland 2016 (Oro)
-Los Juegos Olímpicos Río 2016 (Plata)
-El Mundial Londres 2017 (Oro)
-El Mundial Indoor Birmingham 2018 (Oro)
-El Mundial Doha 2019 (Oro)
-Los Juegos Panamericanos Lima 2019 (Oro)
-El Récord del Mundo indoor (15.43) y ahora, su título de récord oficial de GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS.
La venezolana Yulimar Rojas es la única Latina que ha marcado este récord, aunque nunca imaginó convertirse en titular oficial de Guinness World  Records.
