-THE GODDESS OF LOVE AND BEAUTY-
The origin of Aphrodite begins with the struggle between Cronus and Uranus for the supreme power of the universe. Cronos castrated the god of heaven and threw his genitals into the sea.
That day the sky was dyed a red color due to the blood of Uranus (sky god) and the ocean in great turbulence. After the fall of Uranus's genitals, from the mixture of Uranus's blood and semen and the sea foam something begins to form.
On the shores of the sea, the Nymphs (minor deity) watched that impressive spectacle that took place in front of their eyes, the frightened inhabitants feared that a horrendous creature would emerge from such a disaster.
Along with the birth of the day, the sea calms down. A breeze blows to the island bringing the most delicious of all perfumes. The waters of the sea were totally calm, and suddenly the most perfect female form ever seen begins to rise into the sea. The most perfect face, the curved body without any damage.
Upon fully emerging, everyone contemplated who could only be a goddess. When they arrived on the island, flowers began to sprout around them. The gods of Olympus immediately commanded for her, and clothed her in a dress fit for a goddess.
When she reaches Olympus and before the eyes of the gods, she purposely lets the dress slip, thus revealing all its beauty.
The constellation could only be one, it was the legitimate goddess of beauty and love.
