You're On Your Own

I usually get offended. I dont know why people keep on doing that to me. I just know I get hurt everytime they don't meet my expectation. Usually, I rely and consider them every step of the way. But, I end up having less. I end up being disappointed.

Maybe, I am the problem. I always think and prioritize other people so that they have nothing to say about me. Unconsciously, I also want them to do the same towards me.

But darling, they don't give a damn. People has a mind on their own. They can do and decide whatever they want. Never expect that they would do the same for you just because you did something for them.

From some people's view, one can never do anything right. It's just their point of view, it has nothing to do with you. Do you know the quote: Stay yourself and the right ones will stay? That is so true.
