Nasturtium: edible and insect attractor.
The nasturtium has nothing to do with cherries.
It is a garland plant with large leaves and lots of flowers.
It comes in various colors: yellow, orange, red and pink.
I sowed the plant in the spring in the vegetable garden because it is a real insect attractor.
Aphids prefer the leaves of this plant over the leaves of the vegetable garden plants.
And cabbage whites also prefer the leaves to drop their eggs.
And there is evidence of that !
The big cabbage white has apparently dropped dozens of eggs there, because the large round leaves on their long stems are currently disappearing visibly.
