National Flower Election: pick your favorite!
The tulip? It won't be one, because it's already the national flower of Turkey and Hungary. Which one, then?
With more than 25,000 votes, there was a massive vote for the National Flower of the Netherlands! Where Austria has the edelweiss, the Belgians have the poppy and the Finns have the lily of the valley, we are empty-handed. The tulip is not included, it already belongs to Hungary and Turkey and does not grow in the wild either. You can see the flowers that have already received a lot of votes below. Together, they received 40% percent of the 25,000 votes.
