Acne is the most common skin problem, affecting about 90% of young adults. It develops when pores become clogged or infected with bacteria. It’s also known as acne vulgaris. Typical symptoms of the condition include oily skin, blackheads or whiteheads, and pimples. It can lead to anxiety, reduced self-esteem, and, in extreme cases, depression or thoughts of suicide.
People can use home remedies to balance the skin’s oil levels, kill bacteria, reduce inflammation and prevent future acne breakouts.
