El arte del bonsái .
Desde 1997 en el Centro Comercial Sandiego de Medellín en Colombia viene celebrando la muestra de bonsáis más grande de la ciudad, convertida ya en un ícono de la ciudad, con una pagoda gigante ubicada en la Plazoleta Principal, exhibe más de 200 bonsáis cultivados y cuidados para mantener su particular forma y estructura.
El bonsái es una disciplina muy conocida, que consiste en cultivar árboles y arbustos en macetas y controlando sus dimensiones por diferentes técnicas como el trasplante, la poda, el alambrado o el pinzado, de esta forma se logra que se mantengan de un tamaño mucho menor al que alcanzarían en circunstancias naturales.
Este hermoso arte se originó en China hace unos dos mil años, se conoce como Penjing, su objeto es de culto para los monjes taoístas., un símbolo de eternidad, el árbol representaba un puente entre lo divino y lo humano, el cielo y la tierra.
No solo es un símbolo de eternidad. También implica felicidad, amistad y vida longeva., así que si te regalan uno es porque tienen buenos motivos , ponte feliz ..
