Nervana wins trial over baby photo
Nirvana wins lawsuit over baby on album cover Nevermind
Nirvana won the lawsuit over the four-month-old naked baby on the cover of the album 'Nevermind' (1991) on Friday. In the ruling, US District Judge Fernando Olguin in Los Angeles said prosecutor Spencer Elden waited too long to claim that Nirvana had sexually exploited him by posting his photo on the album cover. At earlier moments in his life, he deliberately made a good decoration with that photo. He just wanted to make a whichever way out of it.
Nirvana was an American grunge band formed in 1987 in Aberdeen, Washington by vocalist and guitarist Kurt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoselic. The band had a series of different drummers, of whom Dave Grohl, who joined the band in 1990, was the longest-serving. Nevermind is the second studio album by American grunge band Nirvana. The album was released on September 24, 1991 and marked the definitive breakthrough for the band. The group scored a world hit with the single Smells Like Teen Spirit .
