Part 7 of my Kimmie and Ko series has just been released.
The previous two parts took place in Africa and you actually only have to cross a small part of the ocean to get to one of the largest and most beautiful islands: Madagascar.
I already wrote a short story about it with Kimmie and Ko two years ago and that short story (entirely in dialogue) ended up being Kimmie and Ko's first chapter in Madagascar.

Blurb:

Kimmie and Ko go on a journey of discovery through Madagascar and discover the many extraordinary animals that live there. This is how they get to know the smallest chameleon in the world and meet different lemur species, such as the finger animal. But remarkable insects such as the hissing cockroach and the Malagasy giraffe beetle also pass by. During their journey through the rainforest, they come into contact with two species of bats that can't stand each other. Like true peacekeepers, the two canaries are doing everything they can to bring them closer together again.

Excerpt:

Ko looks glassy in front of him. “Kimmie, am I awake?” he asks in confusion.
“What kind of weird question is that again? Of course you're awake!’
“So I'm not dreaming?’
“What bothers you? Do you sometimes see them flying?” notes Kimmie.
“No, yes, I just saw the biggest butterfly I've ever seen flutter by,” says Ko. He was taller than you and me combined.’
“Was it sometimes a yellow butterfly?“Karina asks the chameleon.
“Yes! And he also had a very long tail.’
“I know that one,” says Karina.
“You've seen the comet tail butterfly.’
“Oh, wow. Too bad he's gone again. It looked like he was in a hurry.’
“I'm not surprised,” says Karina. “Comet tail butterflies don't get much older than a week.’
“Oh, how sad. How is that possible?’
'Comettail butterflies don't have a roller tongue and therefore can't eat. That's why he quickly goes in search of a female.’
“And, of course, that female is also hungry,” says Ko.
“That's right. The male puts all his time and energy into adorning her. The female then looks for a plant to lay her eggs on. Shortly thereafter, she will die too.’
“No, right! The female, too?” Kimmie exclaims.
“Maybe we can help them,” Ko suggests. “So they don't miss each other.’
“I think that's a good idea,” says Kimmie. “Let's each go one way. I'll go with Karina to find the female and you'll go after the male.' Ko immediately flies to the direction where he last saw the big yellow butterfly.

This exciting new adventure by Kimmie and Ko can now be ordered anywhere.
